kritive is the social portfolio platform for researchers, creators, and builders. Think "Show HN," but as a real home for your work: visual, browsable, and built for discovery. Here's everything you can do.

What makes kritive different

• It's a portfolio, not a feed of noise. Most platforms optimize for hot takes and outrage. kritive is built around the work itself: your projects and papers are the main character, not your follower count.
• Show the whole journey. Devlogs and threaded updates mean people follow a project as it grows, instead of seeing one polished launch and never hearing about it again.
• Credit is shared, properly. Consent-based collaborators put every contributor's name on the work and surface it to their networks too. No more solo-founder theater.
• Discovery that rewards substance. The feed is engagement-weighted around real interest, and you can browse by category or build public collections, so good work keeps getting found long after it's posted.
• You own your identity and your data. Verified badges, private owner-only insights (not sold to advertisers), real privacy controls on collections, and safety tools that actually work.
• An aesthetic with taste. Risograph, manuscript-style cards, dark mode, and accents. It looks like something a designer would be proud to share, not a generic SaaS dashboard.

Share what you build

• Projects. Post a project with a title, headline, description, category, and tags. You can edit the title, headline, repo, and live links after posting (the rest locks once it's published).
• Rich media. Add up to 6 photos and a video (100MB) per post. Multi-image posts get a swipeable carousel; videos autoplay muted with first-frame thumbnails, and you control autoplay and mute defaults in your settings.
• Bring your work in fast. Import a repo straight from GitHub instead of typing everything by hand, with search across your repos.
• Drafts and devlogs. Save drafts, then keep a running devlog so people can follow a project as it evolves.
• Updates that thread. Post an update to an existing project and it links back to the original, so the whole story stays connected.

Get discovered

• A feed tuned to you. For You, Following, Latest, and Trending, with smooth infinite scroll.
• Shape what you see. "Not interested" quietly hides a post just for you; downvote sends a public signal. Mute keywords you never want to see.
• Browse and search. Explore trending work, browse by category, and search across titles and tags.
• Collections. Group posts into playlist-style collections. Make each one public or private.

Connect with people

• Social, done right. Like, bookmark, repost, and leave threaded comments (you can like comments too). Repost something and the original author gets notified.
• Follow and endorse. Follow the people whose work you care about and endorse projects you back.
• Collaborators. Add up to 10 collaborators to a project (with their consent). Collaborated work shows up on their profile and reaches their followers too.
• Messages. Direct messages and group chats (up to 20 people), with live delivery, typing indicators, reactions, presence, unread badges, image and GIF attachments.

Make it yours

• A profile that represents you. Tabs for Posts, Projects, Collections, Liked, and Saved, with sorting on each and the ability to pin a project to the top. Add a typographic cover and edit your name, bio, and links.
• Themes. Dark and Light mode, with accent colors (Indigo, Gold, Emerald, Rose, Grey, or any custom color you pick) plus full-UI themes like Terminal, Amber CRT, Dracula, Nord, Gruvbox, Solarized, Synthwave, and Paper.
• Verified identity. Verify your GitHub and earn a badge.
• Tune your notifications. Choose what you hear about (likes, comments, follows, messages) across in-app, email digests, catch-up emails, and push.

Own your privacy

• Control who sees you. Go private so only approved followers see your work, decide who can message or follow you, and choose whether you're discoverable by email.
• Your account, your call. Deactivate temporarily, download a copy of your data, or permanently delete everything. No lock-in.
• Safety built in. Block, report, automated content moderation, and feedback that goes straight to us.
• Sign in your way. Email/password or GitHub and Google oauth, with email verification and password reset.
